NGL, I'm still shuddering thinking about that Meta commercial.

The 56th Super Bowl was a thing that ~happened~. But if you didn't have the stamina (or interest) to watch in real-time, we got you covered with a recap of all the highlights. Here's the 22 things you missed:

SNL

1. First things first, the Los Angeles Rams triumphed over the Cincinnati Bengals with a score of 23-20. The team rallied in the second half, after a knee injury to wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., to win in their hometown.

4. Colin Jost and Scarlett Johansson starred in an Amazon Alexa ad where the device (*insert nervous laughter here*) reads their minds, causing a few awkward marital moments and jumpstarting more than a few fights. I was here for the cute Colin and ScarJo content, but the ad was a wee bit too on the nose when it came to digital surveillance.

Your reminder that we are in the Black Mirror cinematic universe.

6. Can I get an uhhhhhhhhhhh Kanye West cameo in a McDonald's ad? The fast food chain's new spot poked fun at consumers' tendency to not know what the hell they're ordering in advance (or, you know, when they pull up post-midnight high as a kite).

7. For the first time, the halftime show put rap and hip-hop on center stage, with veteran performers Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Dr. Dre, as well as surprise guests 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. The show featured an open, deconstructed trailer complete with a dance crew and prop cars.

Before you ask, yes, Mary carried the entire show — and the game itself — singlehandedly!

9. Jen and Ben weren't the only ones dancing: Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and their daughter, Blue Ivy, were also in attendance, and like a proud girl dad, the rapper was taking a bunch of pics of the 10-year-old. Oh, and they were seated next to Kelly Rowland, which I'm sure made Jay extra excited.

10. I think I speak for everyone when I say that Dolly Parton can do no wrong. In a new two-part ad for T-Mobile, the legendary singer-songwriter teamed up with her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, in a satirical ad to promote the network's 5G phones.

As thanks, the company is donating a quarter of a million dollars to Miley's Happy Hippie Foundation, which supports homeless and vulnerable LGBTQ+ youth.

13. Jurassic World: Dominion got another trailer during the game, and it sure looks to be an exciting, multi-generation-grabbing conclusion to the two franchises. Don't believe me? Original characters Drs. Grant (Sam Neill), Sattler (Laura Dern), and Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are uniting with Owen Grady's (Chris Pratt) crew.

15. Buuuuut, despite Jordan's awe-inspiring takes on the horror genre, nothing was quite as horrifying (unnerving, shudder-inducing, etc., etc.) as Meta's ad, which features a very sad animatronic dog who gets to live their biggest nostalgia-filled dreams in virtual reality.

On one hand, awwwwww. On another, probably bigger hand, Meta — and the metaverse — is evil!

19. Doja Cat and her (impeccable, life-changing) cover of Hole's "Celebrity Skin" were featured in a new Taco Bell commercial that takes obvious digs at McDonald's forever-broken ice cream machine. Doja in clown makeup driving a clown getaway car? Sign me up.

22. Finally, in an ad that is simply too bizarre for words, Uber Eats got everyone from Jennifer Coolidge to Nicholas Braun to Trevor Noah and Gwyneth Paltrow to eat inedible things delivered by the company (including a Goop candle). "Wait, if it was delivered by Uber Eats, does that mean...I can eats it?" is a real sentence uttered by Jennifer.

And just in case the warnings on the bottom of the screen weren't enough, a federal agency tweeted for good measure, "Do not eat soap."
